A large, gusseted tote bag cut from a rugged, red/white checked, linen/cotton, French Kelsch cloth that has been waxed in-house by Unkruid using natural beeswax. Offering structure and resistance to the elements, the waxed finish bears an oil-slicked appearance, enhancing the already rich texture of the cloth. Constructed using flat felled seams and integrated gusseting for a minimal, hard wearing finish. Completed with dual carry handles and an inner folio pocket.

The bags are first sewn to completion before the waxing process that involves soaking the whole piece before working the wax into the seams and handles. With use, the cloth will develop a patina, taking on a life of its own as you move through time and space.
